I was able to kill two birds with one stone! I got my husband’s sinuses all cleared out and I enjoyed a really good side dish with my teriyaki chicken. That sounds kinda gross… I made Spicy Hot Noodles especially for my husband and because I made a large batch, I had enough for dinner too!

Spicy Hot Noodles
Makes 4 cups
4 cups fine egg noodles, cooked & drained
1/2 cup chicken stock
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
2 green onions (scallions), chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
In a large skillet, heat oil, butter, garlic, and red pepper flakes, on medium heat until bubbly but garlic is not browned. Stir in noodles and coat with oil mixture. Add chicken stock and allow to simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and sprinkle with salt and chopped green onion.
This sounds fantastic for both of the reasons you mentioned 🙂
